First half of the show was most episodic while switching focus from girl to girl, like Makoto wanting to be a princess.
Miki had a mini character arc that was built up through several episodes before coming to a conclusion after she lost motivation.
2nd half introduced the rival idol company with the "evil producer" and the boy band. This marked a decrease in the writing quality for a while. Hibiki's episode suffered as a result.
Evil producer arc segued into Chihaya's arc.
Final arc revolved around Haruka coming to terms with the girls spending less time with each other. Chihaya reaches out to Haruka to pay back Haruka for her kindness in the previous arc.
OG IM@S was amazing and I'll always remember that shit.
