Many hours a day, for eight straight days
Through mountains and valleys, and scenic ways
He pushed himself to the limits of endurance
With a heart full of hope and a mind of assurance

On his journey, he shared his tale
With humor and wit, and a heart that prevailed
Encouraging his fans to give and donate
To make a difference and help those in a fragile state

With every mile, he raised the bar
For charity, he went so far
And when the journey was finally done
He'd raised so much, his victory won
