Hades is the entire realm of the dead, all mortals go there no matter what. Elysium is for great souls and warriors and is paradise. Asphodel is for your average Joes, in mythology it's a pretty meadow you wander around forever doing nothing much of anything but in this game Phlegethon the river of fire spilled over into it cause a meadow would be a boring zone. Tartarus is for criminals and evil people in general, they get tortured and its the only level similar to Christian Hell, even have personalized punishments like Sisyphus. This game doesn't cover it but Tartarus is also a living being in Greek lore, it also houses the dead Titans who the gods overthrew.
