i've got a question, for all of you, regardless of if you stand for my point of view or don't, i really don't care which.
what are you watching vtubers for? i'll answer this for you since i know the cop out answer you'll give, 'entertainment'.

is rosemi a good singer? i'll answer this for you again because i can't be bothered waiting for a reply to the obvious, the answer is no.
so why are you watching somebody who can't sing do a karaoke? you find people that can't sing entertaining, is that it? well i've got good news for you, normalfags, go watch america's got talent, go watch x-factor.
you like them playing games then, is that it? but why them specifically when they're shit at them? why watch people that play games and 9 times out of 10 don't even finish them? why suffer through them struggling at easy sections in games and getting stuck for hours? because that's not entertaining, that's frustrating to watch, under normal circumstances.
you there to just hear them gossiping? you're in luck, there's plenty of shitty reality tv shows that feature girls gossiping with each other about trivial shit.

you think i'm delusional for being infatuated with them? that's my reason for watching them despite sucking at singing, despite sucking at video games and despite talking about some random personal thing that normally you wouldn't give a shit about if you didn't care about the person.
what reason do you have for watching? because i've just laid it all out bare, you have no reason. there's more entertaining people that play the games you like far better than these vtubers ever will if that's what you want to see.

there is absolutely, no fucking logical reason AT ALL to watch a vtuber outside of parasocial ones. they're created and designed to do exactly that.

vtubers are just another addiction. you're not watching them for entertainment (well, you are, but not in the way you're implying you are), you're watching them because you're infatuated too, maybe not to the degree some of us are but certainly more so than you're letting on.

so answer the questions i've laid out, why are you watching these people despite all things i've mentioned when for what you're apparently looking for there are better options?

nobody thinks they are. for the money they're making and how comfortable their lives are, they should relinquish all real life relationships though. when they want to get into one, they can quit streaming or become another 2 view independant.
