I'd expect to. Would probably feel like even more of a husk of a human being if I couldn't. Haven't been able to cry in a very long time though. Even when my dogs died and I was distraught I couldn't actually cry about it. Not because I wasn't emotionally attached, but because I like physically couldn't. It's a weird fucking feeling, like some fucked up kind of emotional blue-balling. Sometimes I have dreams of just having those big, shoulder-heaving sobbing cries where your knees buckle under the weight, and it's somehow like a great relief to just feel that kind of strong emotion again. Then I wake up and feel nothing.

I would definitely be very upset.
