Not yet another shitpost about males but a genuine question/worry

Why did NjiEN go out of their way to limit 3 waves in a row to girls only? Males only appearing at least 7months later, as outsiders coming into a group of 10 girls who had all the time to solidy as a group.
Niji never did such a big separation or such a long time with no male.

I don't want to say they did that not to scare off the Western "hololived" audience, but I really can't see any other reason.
I quickly gave up on hololive long ago after seein the holostars faith I just don't want this to happen again.
