Vtubing might actually be over in 5 years. You cannot take down Hololive now because any new agency rising would be dubbed “Hololive killer”. They’ll all flop with that kind of expectation just like “Gura Killer”. Holomen will be even more lazy due to the lack of competition and there’s no reason to stream with Cover being so generous. Hololive will probably be #1 market leader until you can have sex with chatbots in 5 years. Idol is proven successful but only inside the vtubing bubble. Idol and parasocial shit is toxic waste for most western brand and normies so the fanbase will cannibalize on each other. No crack are showing because older Holos are streaming less with debuts taking years. I don’t think Holobox haven’t actually grown in the past year, Niji just shrunk. HoloEarth is the only way for Hololive to survive while every other vtuber becomes irrelevant.
