No, i quit my job because my coworker died in an accident during work. I just finnished school this summer while also getting my first job as a carpenter. My coworker fall off from 14 meter tall. We didnt get a safety harness and we were supposed to climb up on a 17cm wide wood beam. I was there too climbed up on atleast 20 times on those beams. My coworker slipped once and that was the end of it. Im scared to stand even on chairs right now. My brain is messed up, i cried for the first time in like 10 year. I dont know whats ahead i dont know what i should do now. I been living like a neet for a whole month but i dream about my coworker every night, how he had a family to feed, how he had a 4 year old son, how we eat our meals together for 4 month. I dont wanna go outside i dont wanna meet new people. I want to work alone, without worrying that someone i know dies. Without worrying that i might die. I am scarred i dont know whats ahead. I am man i am supposed to be strong and know the way. I am lost i dont know what to do anymore im scarred. I just want to go back in time and buy a pair of fucking safety harness myself. I hate this feeling thaz i could jave done something, but because i didnt, i ruined not 1 but 5 family. My fucking boss is on trial now. And all his worker is now unemployed. What do i do i am helpless why is noone holding my hands why do i have 0 person i can turn to. I am done i hate thinking i should just stop being a wussy and get another carpenter i can work for... or start my own business and work for the rest of my life...
