I’ve seen a narrative pushed since Cover went public detailing that it’s shareholders who are propping up tempus, and more generally stars as a whole.

Nothing could be further from the truth

While I’m not an investment banker, I do enough financial work to have been involved in IPOs before and I can tell you with 100% certainty that the first thing these shareholders would aim to do is increase profitability.

There is no doubt in my mind that any responsible investor, after looking at super chat and merch revenue for each talent, would come to the conclusion that Male collabs are at best ineffective and at worst one of the biggest dangers the company faces.

Disregarding the moral implications, from a strictly financial standpoint, the numbers show a drastic drop off in revenue for both the talents and the company as a whole after male collabs, Kronii and Mori being prime examples.

I’d be willing to bet good money that a reason that Magni and Vesper both graduated was a shareholders pressured contract renegotiation detailing a ban on intergender collabs.

Hell, I’d go a step further and say a big reason we have Advent now is also due to shareholder pressure.

I know I’d sure as hell be asking why we hadn’t debuted a new gen in 2 years and let our competitors take a significant portion of our malarket share.

Long story short, thank Mr.Jap and the free market for incentivizing your oshi to not be a whore, not the other way around

It’s a much easier pill to swallow that she’s out having fun, as everyone man and woman in their mid to late twenties should be, than her being emotionally commited to another man.

I don’t think oshi no ko was correct. I don’t want my oshi to lie to me, that hurts more than anything else
