They're terrible pets. Pisses everywhere to mark territory, needs constant attention, and 15+ years of lifespan making them a long-term commitment. They ideally also need to be kept with other bush babies to avoid developing neurotic monkey behavior. In many places you need a license to keep one as a pet, but Japan allows anyone to keep them in cages at home. I hope Pekora came to her senses and returned it to the store.
