I mean, yeah it's down to luck but there's tons you can do in your favor to increase the odds. How likely is it to find the "perfect" job? Not likely if you do nothing or even make things worse for yourself by doing drugs or something. How likely is it to find that job if you take measurable steps toward finding it like gaining more certifications and increasing your skills? Fairly likely or pretty darn close.
