You should do it, it's probably the single best physical activity you can do with your time.
A few caveats though:
1. You WILL eventually get injured
2. You WON'T be meeting many women
3. You WILL be getting thrown around by people better than you regularly for as long as you do it

That being said, there is literally nothing in the world like the feeling of landing one of your favorite throws on someone you know is a tough opponent.
