Someone was talking about Japanese strawberries recently and I looked 'em up. There's one called the Yuki Usagi (snow rabbit). Took many generations of selective breeding to get to, and has the taste of tropical fruit. Farmers have to limit the amount of direct sunlight they receive in order to keep them white. Generally only 10% of their crop retains the white coloring.
