YES. AME FUCKING GETS IT. THE APPEAL OF HOLOLIVE IN COLLABS WITH OTHER HOLOMEMBERS. THANK FUCK. AME THANK YOU FOR TRYING. I KNOW IT'S NOT EASY.

Hololive's collabs within the agency is literally the only thing that sets them apart. It's not the music, even though the music has some bangers. It's definitely not the quality of their 2D and 3D models, they range from good to awful. There are Vtubers with better rigging and tracking both in 2D and 3D. No Hololive is just great because you see these girls grow and support each other and be positive and rely on each other. I fucking live for tee tee moments.

>I'd like to do as good a job as you anon, can you give a quick rundown on the tools and process?
Thanks for the compliment- I'm really not that good, just look at /wg/
It's nothing fancy.
I use GIMP and the lasso tool to outline what I want to keep, while selecting the background I want deleted. You can either draw with the lasso tool, or do what I do since I'm not skilled, just click a lot and add a shittone of nodes.
The only "trick" is to select just INSIDE what you want to keep. If you do it right on the pixel edge, you're going to get a bit out of the outside/background.
Sometimes I split it by removing one half of the background, and then the other.
Occasionally zoom out to make sure you didn't miss smaller sections, or if you were overzelous and removed a part you through was background, but was actually part of what you wanted to keep.
Zooming out occasionally also helps you keep with the general shape of whatever section you're working on. Sometimes when you're too zoomed in for too long, you loose sight that that's suposed to be a thinner strand of hair, or something else.
The rest just comes with practice and learning what works and doesn't for your process.
Here's the rough process:
