If you tried speaking Japanese with the same level of skill as Haachama's english, you would get laughed at in Japan and businesses would refuse to deal with you. Having standards for language is important. 99% of NATIVE english speakers can hardly speak the language properly, and the more it becomes a nova lingua franca for the entire fucking world, the more it will become a bastardized and neutered shell of what it once was. I love Haachama but the simple reality is that studying languages isn't hard, you just need to put in the work. If you're not at least converstationally fluent in any language after studying it for 4+ years then you're lazy. Simple as.
