Sorry for missing your post earlier, anon. Image on left is your original, right has a couple of fixes.
Couple of pointers -
1. You'll want to avoid tangents - basically where your lines line up despite being parts of different objects. This can cause objects to "merge" in space for the viewer. I've marked these in red.
2. Don't be scared of overlap. Overlapping objects in space is important for generating sense of depth. You've constrained Shion's hat within the space set by Matsuri's body, even though there's no physical reason for it. Having it overlap feels more natural.
3. Try going back in with an eraser and cleaning up areas that you had originally sketched over, if they seem messy or unclear.
4. You can vary the darkness of objects, even linework, in order to separate different things from each other. Darker things tend to seem closer to the viewer, so I've darkened the lines on Shion here.
