nta, but what do you have in mind that costs Cover "real money" as opposed to a concert? Model updates, 3D models and outfits? See IRyS and Mori, Hologra and CTW. Producing music? See the CTW orisong and Jigoku 6 as well as covers and MVs. Letting them travel to Japan and the US? If they pay it out of their paychecks, it's still money Cover gave them. And the other part of Holopro also gets some stuff.
The only thing I can think of that was way more expensive than all of that is the new studio in JP, but that's fairly justified if you have 30 JP talents and just 10 EN (who have probably been there too).
Way I see it, Cover is investing quite a bit and it seems to pay off.
