Otsonny!! Wake the fuck up anon, we've got a city to loot. Rare sonny gorilla and of course it's zomboid... good thing I didn't sleep through it. It was a nice quiet time on the server today, I enjoyed watching sonny go on another little expedition and overall I'd say it was less disastrous than usual. Packed up his things and hopped into his banged-up toyota to go out to the warehouses outside muldraugh with the hope that nobody else got to them first. On the way there he talked a bit about how he's glad the game took off more in EN, saying how many different ways there are to play it. Sonny our loot goblin, maria the farmer, I definitely think that multiplayer is more interesting now that we have people playing a more diverse cast of roles... it's kinda cool. He forgot to bring a lighter and did go through quite a few zombies looking for one to light his molotovs, but once he got it he was back on his way. Made a few more stops during the commute, and also begins the hunt for a new katana. Basically two hours of opening lootboxes with the way he was combing through crates hoping to find one KEK. He'll get that SSR drop someday... I'm glad he was able to find some good loot today though. Especially that car battery charger which he was really excited about, I hope they can find a lot of use for it back at the base! Someone in chat mentioned how movie-like this game could feel at times and I'm inclined to agree— when he was out there a real blizzard started raging and he had to take shelter inside for a bit to escape the elements; that and the way there was just a haze of white on the drive back with zombies occasionally stumbling into view felt oddly cinematic. He did unfortunately get scratched entirely due to his own negligence... but I'd say no bites or deaths makes for a successful adventure. Though he wasn't able to check out everything he wanted, better to make the call to head back early and make it home safely than get too greedy and lose it all, something he's very prone to doing. Not a super long stream today but I'm happy sonny went live, he easily could have just spent his evening no-lifeing the game offstream again. It was very nice spending my morning watching him cook, kill zombies and collect shit. He wants to stream zomboid again likely on Tuesday, likely going back to west point. Hopefully next time he can go back for that van he found in great condition, and maybe they can organize a clean-up effort for the base soon too KEK.
