It just only now hit me how fucking wild it is that Myth at HoloFes was a dream, then a pipe dream, then a reality in the span of a year or so

I always ask myself, why do people like Ame? She is not different from any other average female streamer. She can't sing or draw, she doesn't have that something "special" at all really.
I now believe that I know the answer. People like Ame precisely because she is average and not special in any way shape or form. It's easy for people to empathize with her, because her fans are like her, they are just regular, normal, unambitious people.
Ame is a perfect representation of a modern internet culture that rewards mediocrity, and doesn't give a fuck about skill or talent.
It's beautiful and sad at the same time...
