Sedentary and semi-pastoral Chiefdoms:

The Founding War - Reform and Western Campaigns:
After two difficult decades, the wave of Schizos was stemmed by effective military, administrative and economic reform. The pacification of the Coastal Provinces and resumption of maritime trade brought a period of growth. Where the Republic can effectively hold out against the Eastern attacks.

The Founding War - Hill Wars and Conclusion:
Lasting for three decades, the Republic "reclaimed" the Eastern Steppes and Vallies in the Hill Wars. The slow and methodical approach, disparate economic advantage and a weakening Rrat allowed the Republic to eventually claim victory against the Schizo menance.

The Reconstruction:
From the early 8th century onwards, the state stewarded the rebuilding of the East and further development of the West. The Aggressive pursuit of economic Autarky would see maritime trade decline while domestic industry experienced explosive growth.

Hyper Modernity:
Industrialization and trade oriented policy, intellectual shifts would see the Republic adopt a more outward posture since the Mid 11 century. Droves of companies are founded and encouraged to expand both inwards and outwards. The period also saw a gradual reduction of the standing army, being replaced by an even more professional armed force.

Should've finished this earlier but I spent the last day thinking about the Hill Wars. The history also assumes that the geography of the East is kind of like Picrel. If it seems off please do tell. As the title suggests it's more of an outline for now. Don't really want to dumpster dive but guess I'll have to do it.
As for the Rep I think I can do with some of your thoughts on the history after the War. Memory is a bit hazy and I think I can do with some reminders. No need to quote anything, just need a rough timeline(in months) of how you saw the thread evolve. I can work it out from there.
