Hello ruffians!
Thanks to your encouragement I started with my Nihongo learning journey!
DAY 10: Today I've learned Hiragana characters with "r" sound, so ら、り、る、れ、ろ and yōon combinations with り。Today was the first time I felt frustrated while studying. I needed good amount of time figuring out how to pronounce "japanese r" in Hiragana characters that use it. I watched 3 or 4 videos, practiced and at some point decided that it's good enough and that I should move on to writing and typing. To my absolute surprise when I heard くろ「kuro」 in one example, ろ sounded almost like I would say "ro" without any practice of Japanese r. I mean it sounded almost like you if you would tell English speaking person to say "ro". There was no "japanese r" in it. I remembered I also heard it when Fuwamoco played Nobeta and I found it https://youtu.be/A2e3ljDAxmQ?t=550 .Then in some other video I saw that they don't use the same pronunciation if it's the first (or only) character or if it's later in the word/sentence. So in the end I'm not gonna break my head over pronunciation of "r" hiragana characters and assume I'll get it with time.
Apex collab time! And what's more important, Fuwawa gaming time! And Mococo backseating time :)
BAU BAU!
