Oh, it seems like stuff is happening.
In retrospect, there are probably aspects of the world's underlying mechanics that were tacitly accepted when a more formal process should have been used to prevent future issues.
Here is an idea: let's look at those things that we currently have, and let's all have a discussion on the things that work or do not work with them. Even if some bits cause friction, I think there is value in the ensemble, it would be a shame to throw the baby out with the bath water.
Once we discuss those ideas in depth, we can probably come to improved proposals that accommodate both the existing concepts and new ideas, and have a near unanimous vote to put it into the archive.
