Different things.
Saying "Don't actually eat batteries", is just covering your ass, making sure that suggesting any dangerous activities are just jokes. She often suggests weird things, so it's whatever. It's not even about having kids in the audience, but generally a good measure for any streamer.
But sometimes she uses this generally infantilizing tone, and that can be annoying. It's just the way she says some things. Ame is a symbol of fertility and youth, but I'd rather be the dad of her children, not the fucking kid.
