Depends. If the vtuber has open DM, and a discord there's a good chance they do meet ups to squeek out a few orgasms when they are lonely.
Don't think it's a grift either though. In my opinion some vtubers seem to stream to feel as though they are productive, and ahead of the curve. They need you to tune into their stream so they can at least feel superior to rebelearthsky.

My oshi is going to make it big in the algorithm. A viewer whose oshi blew up told me when asked for advice on how to promote your oshi. They told me Just View, so I'll just view!

Remember viewers. The world is your oyster if you become a chuuba. After many hours your oshi debated on how she would stream, and then she just streamed, and despite her self criticism she got ccv. That could be you too, so follow your oshis best advice, and Just Stream!
