Vegans don't have the moral high ground either. They consume life like everyone else. Plants, algae, fungi, bacterial fermentation products, you name it. They just draw the line for what's acceptable in a different place. Vegans looking down on humans for eating meat isn't any different to us looking down on chinks for eating dogs.
