reposting for tourists.

>what happened
YT flags subs that are made by accounts which subcribes to the same 5 (in this case) channels simulatenously in a short period of time.

>how do you know this
happened to NijiEN, to Edengumi, to HoloEN2, to NijiKR(6?), etc on their announcement and debuts. more so to HoloEN2 since EOP are subwhores and subbed immediately to the new girls regardless of anything.
Note that IRyS completely avoids this as she debuts alone, therefore no simultaneous subscribing takes place.

>why only vtubers
Its not only vtubers, if you look into @TeamYoutube tweets/replies, you'll find similar cases, mostly to new or small channels. most likely because YT's algo only checks this sort of behaviour when it detects a channel gained a considerable of subs in a short period of time (when a channel increased its subcount by more than 10% in a day, for example).
There is also one case where theres a 10-channel normie tuber collab and they all gain ~1k subs. YT then slash ~500 subs from all of them with little to no reason given out by YT when they complained.

>how can YT's AI be this retarded?
wont be the first time. and if you consider how a subfarm works, they are sweatshops that have multiple accounts over multiple devices that will subscribe to a fixed list of channels that have paid for their service, probably in a short period of time.
How a large number of fans/boxpushers reacts to a vtubers debut is unfortunately too similar with that and therefore is falsely flagged by YT's AI.

>so when will they return the subs back
not anytime soon, probably never.
the subscribers that are already flagged as spam/invalid are not actually unsubscribed, you will still get notification and all from the channel. its just that your sub wont count in the public subcount.
this is consistent with @TeamYoutube's position on the matter, which is they dont and never remove subs and that they regularly purge subs from inactive/spam accounts.

>but why are there people who claims that they are unsubscribed manually by YT
well YT is apparently such a big fucking mess that the reason some people are experiencing that is because of an entirely unrelated bug where your sublist may not properly sync when you are already subscribed to more than a certain number of channels.
