In short, Cyberlive started off with shaky waters, made worst by Hylo idea for the debuts.
Lumi has carried Cyberlive a long way from the start, and Hylo ending as the lowest subbed, started shitposting on the board (which was far from the first time she'd done so as indie) and almost turned Yuri against Lumi.
Lumi however continues to incline and then gen2 happens, where a number of people, including Menace, debut
Shortly after around christmas, one of Lumi's mods is "outed" as a schizo by some no view wvt vtuber showing his DMs wit this mod from 6 months ago (before he was a mod) where he bragged about collecting doxs on some people (unknown if he actually had anything) and spamming /wvt/ with gore and porn. Overall a bit of an edgelord.

Lumi decides it's not worth removing a mod and big spender, so Menace, who was friends with /wvt/, leaves their private collab discord and leaks a bunch of stuff framing Sei for the leak, like stuff that shows another of Lumi mod (supposedly 17) who was dating Kiki (the black rabbit from this board) explaining she is underage and lied on her age, being a completely insane pathological liar and severely mentally ill.

Meanwhile, gen1 manager Misaki basically didn't do her job at all and Lumi is forced to take over the manager's position as she was 1st in merit by a large margin, adding to the general resentment and jealousy, and gen2 including her manager form a private DM group (pic rel) where they only spend time gossiping/shitting about Lumi. Since she was doing everything herself and working as a manager, she thought she had little reason to stay in that atmosphere while giving away some of her earnings, and since the contract allowed it, she left and kept everything, to join Phase Connect.

So Lumi's main fault is her questionable choice of mod, and that is why several people in cgl and some in wvt see her as the great villain who will destroy PC from within.
