This is the part that newfags seem to misunderstand. They seem to think that you need to be some Doki-hating nijisister to acknowledge that she has the most obnoxious, off-topic spewing fanbase in vtubing in general, but that's not the case at all. Anyone could read /HAHA/ or something for a few days and realize that it's not a problem with Doki herself, it's her fans that are the scum of the earth.

I think it's interesting how split threads focused on specific vtubers tend to actually be less tribal than specific corpo-focused general threads that cram a lot of fanbases together. Like, the hololive global is pretty consistently hostile to or at least dismissive of any non-hololive talent, while individual holo talent split threads tend to take an attitude more of "if my oshi likes her and/or she likes my oshi, we're cool with her"

I've been living under a rock and was caught with my pants down by an ambush Lazulight ad too late to catch Eli and Pomu's debuts. Eli's engagement with chat struck me as having a stick up her ass to be frank, in contrast to the relaxed and well-humoured air of Pomu. Just look at the respective favourites for their new spots on the moon, The Big Cheese and The PP Zone lost to Eluna and Area PP1. Eluna! How do you get any more sapped of creativity than that?
