I'm trying to be understanding here. I've seen dudes who really know their shit crank out a near distribution ready backing track in less than an hour. Slapped on an crunchy as fuck bassline and force vocals into place with a fucked up high pass EQ and some megaphone distortion. It wasn't perfect but the dude had a demo track for his client done in less than a day and the big components sounded as good as any other aggressive rap beat. Some people just work slower so I want to account for that, but I've honestly never heard of a musician working on a single song for a solid month. They always flip between a dozen projects when they get bored and most songs get written and finished in a few days of actual total time.

Egg Firm is the brainchild of Kazuma Miki after index III was such a disaster that he had to publicly apologize. He formed his own producing group to fund things as vertically as possible so that he doesn't have to conform to braindead committee demands from people who don't give a shit about the properties. The first major vertical productions that Egg Firm greenlit were SAO Alicization and Mushoku Tensei. Miki is insanely devoted to his projects and he knows that Index III was an incredible waste of everyones time and a shame on his name as producer. Notice how Alicization released in chunks to preserve the level of quality, and how Mushoku just got delayed to keep up it's quality. Miki is a visionary who's been able to correctly predict the movement of the industry for over a decade, and his vertical production is paying off bigtime. Cover would be absolutely retarded to not follow his system since it's the same thing Type Moon does. The only difference being that Type Moon does it vertically because they just have that much money, not really out of necessity to make sure they don't get fucked over like Miki did.
