Themselves as in their OC. Most women would rather draw a nice looking OC rather than a faceless women. Drawing a faceless and generic and oftentimes ugly self-insert is a male thing I've noticed. It may be an OC but it still counts as yume/self-insert art that anyone can use, even if you don't look like the OC.

I only say cowards because they're afraid of what their oshi might think when there's plenty of vtubers who admire that kind of art or think it's cute. I get the hesitation as someone who has drawn it before too but yeah if you want to see more of thing you have to put thing out there to show a demand for that thing.
