I guess it's part of the projection incompatibility? Otherwise it looks great. The manual zoombar is a great addition. I'm not sure how much it helps with usability but having a help button that can display tips might be a good future function. Like explaining how to use the area measurement tool there instead of just the hover tooltip or having a direct link to our climate rentry articles for easier access by any newfags.
