Dude check out this idea: what if you had a space navy simulator where the two sides were trying to shoot at each other from opposite sides of a black hole. Even though the enemy ships are on the other side of the star, the gravitational lensing means you can see and target them because the light bends all the way around the thing. But the targeting software still goes bonkers because they look all smeared and shit. Quantum effects get really noticable -- i.e. you have to choose between knowing the target's position or velocity, but not both, and vice versa. And in the middle of it all is a planet who's caught in the gravity well and is watching the missiles fly at what seems like a glacial pace. Your battle has been progressing for literally thousands of years from their perspective and has long since been rendered a matter of religious dogma. Their priests build rockets to shoot back at you and hope their great-great-great grandchildren live to see it connect. But which from your perspective seems like a rocket literally just teleports out of thin air to slam into your forces
