Where else would you look for them? I don't like Discord servers because they're too cliquey and full of gossipy weirdos, so I'd just add people individually. But I ended up with a catalogue of people who either got off on all the adds they got or generally never wrote back.
I agree, girls elsewhere are too normie, and will send me TikToks and shit I have no interest in, and are terminally online Twitter users where I'm at.

I have no friends, so I've always gone alone. The very first con that I went to, I walked in wearing a PS4 Spider-Man costume right around the time that Into the Spiderverse came out, and instantly got absorbed into a mob of other Spider-Man cosplayers, and there was some girl cosplaying D.va from Overwatch among them, for some reason. We got a few pictures together and exchanged Snapchats before everybody split up, and then she just kept talking to me because I wasn't weird.
