It was legit bad. You couldn't even hear three of them for most of it. A ton of people told them so yet they did nothing to fix it.
The gift exchange was a bit lame and the pictures were almost worthless.
Sorry I love offcollabs but this was a weak one. The only real excitement came from the announcement.

Why don't they just do a body-takeover stream on the other channels
As in for example Gura takes over Ame's channel for a day and streams on it using Ame's model

Personally, imagine if they each did 1 stream as normal except they rotated through the channels, taking over the other's body. By which I mean for example Ame will stream on Gura's channel and use Gura's model but act as if nothing weird was going on, just doing a stream. Then Gura does it on Mori's channel, Kiara on Ame's etc. as an example
I think that would be pretty fucking funny.

Mediums aren't talents. Singing is a talent, VTubing is a medium for performing talents. You don't succeed by puppeteering a virtual model extremely well, you succeed by showing off your talents while doing that.
Take Suisei because that's the one example where indie and holo are the same. Was she accepted because she is a good entertainer or a good singer? Both make you a good vtuber, neither require you to practice vtubing. You cannot point at some metric of her success (ccv, income, number of songs or streams, personal satisfaction) and say that it had nothing to do with her previously practice of talents.
You're pretty much arguing that a successful author of fiction books who gets a screenwriter job has never been successful at writing a story before, the audition process just magically made them good as a screenwriter.

I really wish the girls played Mario Party more often, the new one is very fun.
What's stopping them from just going online and spontaneously doing some Mario Party for an hour or two every week?
