There's massive amounts of /u/ shippers for Miko and Suisei now, but they seem to encourage and leech off it with this "business teetee" instead. It's probably profitable.
Perhaps Pekora simply wasn't comfortable with that kind of thing.
(Also, Miko sometimes gives off the vibe that she could actually be gay, not just performing for yurifags. Pekora does not.)
