His art looks fucking great for the purpose of still images
The only issue was that he had no idea how that would go for Live2D.
Compare that to his art of Odysseus for F:GO. You can see how this kind of art goes great for still shots, but it just doesn't hit the same if you tried to make it move without changing the design a bit.
Unironically, I do think the IRyS saga has caused Redjuice's style to shift in other projects, where he still can pump out bangers in that OG style, but he's gotten a lot more experience in flexibility for his style, too.
