Saw this wall of text in the comments of that video from a guy who used to make Okayu clips too. He's answering somebody who didn't realize Okayu had changed:

"Former Okayu oshi here, it was around the time she got her "boyfriend shirt" outfit (the white shirt), but honestly even a bit before that. At least as long as I watched her (Summer 2020), she'd always been openly appreciative of her fans, which I liked from time to time. But over time it started to feel like she was downright lovey-dovey with her fans, saying stuff like that every day, which started to make me a bit uncomfortable. When I started watching her, I thought of her like "that friend you chill with and play games together with after school" or something along those lines. But that kind of went out the window when she got an outfit that was basically just a shirt and nothing else and started talking about boyfriend/girlfriend situations with her fans, which felt like a "breach of my agreement with her" as a viewer.
This is only kind of related, but was definitely also a factor: Back in 2020/2021, she was known for being kind of easily flustered around "lewd" things - her playthrough of the original Coffee Talk has a lot of moments where she gets embarrassed by R18 conversations. And over time that went away, which is fine in and of itself - people get used to those things over time - but around the time she got that outfit, she started leaning INTO sexual things, making things like moaning part of her daily shtick and acting like she couldn't help it when she'd more or less never done it before then. That was just one part of it for me, but it was definitely one of the last straws when I realized we weren't really on the same page anymore. To me it was kind of like a friend who you just "like" suddenly coming on to you when you clearly don't reciprocate. It just instantly sours the relationship.
She's also touched on this before - she's aware that some fans have distanced themselves from her saying that she's changed, and she says that she hasn't, but it's just extremely clear when you compare 2020 Okayu to 2023 or even 2022 Okayu that that's not the case.
That said I'm still happy she's successful and hope she stays that way, it's just kind of a shame that she decided to lean away from me in the process. Sorry for the wall!"
