Please help me sort out my confused feelings.
I like Nina. She is my cute, dorky friend/cool wine aunt. I love talking to her. She's very polite. She's cool, she has good taste in games, and I can understand her taste in guys.
However, I cannot feel love for her. Only relentless attraction. Something in me says, "Nina's a woman. She checks all of our boxes! Go for it!" I want to follow that instinct and work to grab her heart, but I'm well aware, both consciously and subconsciously, that it's a bad idea. My heart shrivels up when I think of kissing her, and even when I dream of her, there's some force negating any fulfillment I should receive from the dream.
I'm filled enough with passion that I should shout, "I love this woman! I love Nina!" This never manifests itself in reality though. She's just obviously "A woman you shouldn't get involved with", and I'm dissatisfied. What can I do?
