What sucks is that some of the series I thought of are fairly long too to take in one setting (13 episodes so roughly the 5-6 hours range). I was thinking about the ones that could fit her theme the most like Sora no Woto or Kino (either one of the 2003 or 2017 series, your choice). I'm sure there's still plenty out there.
