It's been shown many many times that youtube's viewer count is bugged or otherwise inaccurate.

You can also see for yourself by waiting in any big YT streamer's waiting room, when they go live the count drops by half or more.

Or you could say that the polls are bugged to get fake votes from somewhere (?), and the waiting room as well, but that doesn't really make sense.
