This is the problem with Watoto as Ame played him:
He's stupid, conspiratorial, and impulsive, but he's also ridiculously soft spoken. Ame never raised her voice or put any emotion into anything. It was less like Watoto is dumb and more like he's literally catatonic stumbling around everywhere whispering and mumbling.
