That chat lag has largely been fixed. The site is still in beta. It's just barely 1 year old. More and more people are moving there, and there's always potential for finding people there you do want to watch. I mostly watch low view streamers anyway and like finding new channels, rather than my same old same old. I will fully admit that it is far more IRL oriented than gaming desktop stream oriented but it's slowly growing and I'm hopeful. It still needs a proper tag system as well to encourage that. Not being paid by Kick, by the way.

I don't gamble and have no interest in gambling but the idea that kick is going to get *children* hooked on gaming is fucking retarded. Also, gambling requires capital to spend, porn can become a crippling, mind-frying addiction completely for free. They are not the same.

Also, Kick has implemented options in its menu, clear as day, that allow you to disable either or both gambling and hot tub streams from appearing sitewide.
