i was trying to make my controller work with an emulator yesterday and couldn't figure out why it wasn't working but it was because i had steam open which was mapping the inputs to keys on the keyboard and it was also because the emulator only really works with the controller if it is connected via bluetooth. the solution was to remap the controller buttons for desktop mode in steam. it was a simple fix but figuring out why it happened was not simple and it is usually stupid things like this that take a long time to troubleshoot. for something like a mocap suit and picrel being the type of problem she is dealing with it is very understandable
