You either build your audience around unicorns, or male collabs.
Can't have both.

Unicorns can be extremely supportive, but are easily upset, if you make a wrong move, or some things get leaked.

And people watching male collabs, are mostly normies.
They don't provide much support, but are very forgiving, so you have much more freedom with your content, and private life.

That's why most vtubers, at least try to stay unicorn friendly.
Just because it's more profitable, with low effort content.
