I always had the feeling that the people who consume Vtuber content, specially in this hellhole thanks to the flexibility of anonymity, put up this façade of just interacting in the thread and highlighting the wacky things that occur during streams and just having plain fun, but in reality, many if not all people feel the way you and >>49236879 do in the sense that anons try very hard at hiding the fact that they might as well have fallen in love with a character that just doesn't exist and will never correspond their love and try to cope by behaving like they're just having some fun and telling people to take meds when they break character.
