The voice is only sort of important. The mannerisms are the most important part. As long as someone is trying, I will probably fawn over them.

That said, most men do not change their voice much period. That is why I like Kongou's shota voice, because his natural voice is rather deep, and his shota voice is not "ideal", but he tries and the effort makes me more able to suspend my disbelief.
