I see, I see. Before I started to also go for a play of calling pons, I usually get a good hand but my main problem about it are, someone gets called for a ron of a little points, breaking my really good hand, I get called ron instead, or I get tenpai worse case scenario is I get no yaku. I really like calling for a riichi when I could since it always makes my hand bigger than it should, and gives me more combinations for a winning hand.
