October First. Year twenty three of the third era.
Many of my brethren have fallen. They have been corrupted by the beings known as 'Femnovelites,' a mythical being known to lurk amongst the shadows of our company as we revel in our own solitude. I cannot discern these creatures' motives, but I pray that my comrades return their eyes to her highness; our eyes are for her alone. An exclusive contract was made... But it seems we do not have the will to follow it- something I should have noticed from the state of mind many of my comrades seemed to exhibit. Will I be next? By the old ones, I see only darkness in these times. How I wish I could only be back in the courts of Inkwell and tending to my lady, or helping the serfs manage their menial labor.
