Luca's retardation is explainable. His mom made him live a sheltered life, which is why he knows nothing about food or care, he didn't grow up around anime deeper than what's on Netflix so he doesn't know about that much weeb shit (or vtuber shit). However he was midway through a STEM degree. You can be retarded in one part in life, and smart in another.
