Not the correct description - it's more like YouTube registered zero views for several hours for everyone in...some yet unbounded geographic areas but not others? A bunch of fleshtubers also got hit too, but for some reason JP views seem unaffected. Everything past that void is probably being recorded correctly, but who knows if they can actually recover the data that got voided. Picrel seems to illustrate said void.

Anecdotally I noticed that Ina's Violet stream was shitting the bed ~2 hours in but only some people seemed to be complaining, so that could be related.
